Police ask for help identifying Popeyes robbery suspects



MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee Police are looking for information on the identity of two suspects responsible for the May 18th armed robbery of Popeyes on Capitol Dr.

The suspects forced their way behind the counter through an employee door shortly after 5 p.m. They demanded money and removed the cash drawers from the registers. The suspects then fled and possibly entered a maroon minivan packed in a nearby car wash lot.

The first suspect is described at a black male, 28-32 years old, between 5'9" and 6' tall with a dark complexion, thin build and short hair. He was wearing a purple button-down, long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans, and a blue baseball cap.

The second suspect is described as a black man, 30-32 years old, between 5'8" and 6' tall with a light complexion, thin build and bald. He was wearing a white t-shirt, navy blue cargo shorts with "gooci" printed in red across the back, and black and white tennis shoes.
