Police arrest man who reportedly tried to get girl into car

ST. FRANCIS (WITI) -- St. Francis police have identified and arrested the man who reportedly tried to get a young girl in his car.

It happened on Saturday, March 2nd around 4:00 p.m.

Police say the girl was walking in the 2800 block of Koenig Avenue at that time. She refused his request, and continued on her way.

The car was headed northbound on Kinnickinnic Ave. and left the area.

The man's name has not yet been released because he is still waiting to be officially charged.
