Pleasant Prairie police seeking suspect in bank robbery

PLEASANT PRAIRIE -- Pleasant Prairie police are looking for a suspect in a bank robbery that occurred Tuesday afternoon around 4:30 at a bank in the 9000 block of 76th Street.

Police say a suspect entered the bank, presented a bank bag to an employee and asked for money. The suspect implied he had a weapon, but a weapon was never displayed. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of money.

Police describe the suspect as a black man, wearing a dark-colored ball cap, a black shirt, dark-colored jeans, black tennis shoes and black sunglasses. The suspect appeared to be in his mid-40s, approximately six feet tall and approximately 220 pounds. The sides of the suspect's head were shaved, and curly hair was visible from the back of his cap.

Police say the suspect entered what appeared to be a new-looking white Nissan Maxima with dark, tinted windows.
