Pieces of concrete fall from bridge, lanes re-open

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Officials in Milwaukee County are taking a closer look at a bridge just north of the Zoo Interchange -- after chunks of concrete fell from it early on Saturday afternoon, May 10th.

The debris fell on two of the northbound lanes of Hwy. 45 at Bluemound Rd. It was expected to be cleaned up after a bridge inspector got a chance to view the scene.

As of about 2 p.m., delays over three miles were being observed with this incident. However, all lanes are now re-open and the debris has been cleared.
