PICTURES: FOX6 News viewers capture shelf cloud passing through SE Wisconsin

SOUTHEAST WIS. (WITI) -- FOX6 News viewers had their cameras at the ready on Monday morning, August 25th -- and snapped pictures that show odd-looking cloud formations as a front passed through southeast Wisconsin.

FOX6 Meteorologist Justin Zollitsch says these are shelf clouds -- found on the leading edge of strong thunderstorms. He says these are often an indication gusty winds are present.
