Pedestrian struck, killed by vehicle on STH 57 near Abbott Drive in Sheboygan County

SHEBOYGAN COUNTY -- Officials with the Sheboygan County Sheriff's Office say a pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle on Wednesday morning, November 4th.

The Sheriff's Office received a 911 call just before 6:00 a.m. about a pedestrian vs. vehicle accident on southbound State Highway 57 near Abbott Drive in the Town of Sherman.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Officials say the operator of the vehicle involved was not injured as a result of the accident.

No other vehicles were involved.

The accident is currently under investigation.
