Parent, child struck by car outside Sheboygan elementary school

SHEBOYGAN (WITI) -- A parent and student of Cooper Elementary School in Sheboygan were struck and injured by a 19-year-old driver near the school.

The incident happened around 2:50 p.m. on Friday, February 22nd.

The 27-year-old parent and 6-year-old child were taken to Aurora Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. Their conditions have not been released.

Police are investigating the crash.
