Two motorcycles involved in crash

WEST ALLIS (WITI) -- Officials were on the scene of a crash involving two motorcycles that occurred in West Allis on Thursday night, July 25th.

It happened in the 6500 block of W. Becher.

Officials say a 32-year-old Milwaukee man was killed, and a 38-year-old Greenfield man was taken to Froedtert Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Officials say their preliminary investigation shows two motorcycles -- a Harley-Davidson and a sport motorcycle were traveling together on W. Becher.

The driver of the sport motorcycle struck the rear tire of the Harley-Davison. The Harley then crossed the street and crashed at the southeast corner of Becher and McGeoch.

Officials say the driver of the sport motorcycle lost control, crossed the center line, and was struck by a car traveling east on W. Becher.

The car's driver, a 26-year-old man from West Allis was not injured.

There were no passengers on either motorcycle.

The man killed was driving the sport motorcycle.

Officials say the investigation is ongoing.
