One in custody, two hurt following two-vehicle crash

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police say one person has been taken into custody and two people are hurt following a two-vehicle traffic accident Monday night, September 3rd.

Police say a car and a motorcycle collided near N. 27th Street and W. Burleigh Street around 10:30 p.m.

The operator and passenger of the motorcycle are being treated for serious injuries at a local hospital. The driver of the car was treated for minor injuries and then taken into custody.

At this time it is unknown why the driver of the car was taken into custody, however, authorities say alcohol may have been a factor in the crash.

No other details have been released at this time.
