One displaced after fire breaks out in apartment near 84th and Morgan

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Red Cross is assisting one person after an apartment fire on Milwaukee's southwest side.

The fire broke out around midnight in an apartment complex near 84th and Morgan. Officials say the fire started in a kitchen.

Fire officials say the flames were contained to one unit and caused an up to $50,000 in damage.

There is no word on the cause of the fire. No one was injured.
