Officers investigating armed robbery at Milwaukee Toys 'R Us

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Toys 'R Us store near 27th and Howard on Milwaukee's south side.

The incident happened just after 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 6th, when an unknown suspect walked into the store, took out a handgun and demanded cash. The suspect got away with an undetermined amount of money.

No shots were fired and no injuries were reported during the robbery.

Authorities continue to investigate the scene. The store will remain closed while the investigation is on-going.
