Off-ramp closure caused big delays on I-794 EB at Jackson Street on Thursday morning

MILWAUKEE -- Motorists saw big delays along I-794 at Jackson Street  Thursday morning, July 28th. At one point, traffic was stop and go back to Lovell Street.

Officials say the right lane of an off-ramp on I-794 eastbound at Jackson Street was temporarily blocked. The DOT says there was an issue at one of the downtown construction sites that caused the closure.

The delays cleared up around 10:15 a.m.
