OB/GYN found guilty of sexual assault surrenders license

MILWAUKEE -- The Wisconsin Medical Examining Board has accepted the surrender of the license of Evan Saunders.

47-year-old Saunders, an OB/GYN was found guilty on eight counts against him -- including four counts of fourth-degree sexual assault and four counts of disorderly conduct.

Four women claim Saunders touched them inappropriately during gynecological exams at his private practice between 2008 and 2011.

Saunders testified during the trial. He denied all allegations.

Saunders faces up to four years in prison.

Saunders' license had been suspended since May of 2011.
