Muskego man accused of striking mother with vehicle now in custody



MUSKEGO (WITI) -- Muskego police on Sunday afternoon, October 13th were able to take into custody at 29-year-old man accused of striking and injuring his mother with a vehicle early Sunday morning.

Officers were called to the home near Pilgrim and Durham Drive just before 4 a.m. to investigate a "domestic violence" related incident.

Investigators say after the man apparently struck his mother, he abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot.

The man's mother suffered what family members say is a severe head injury.

Family members say the man was drunk, and the man's 61-year-old mother was trying to keep him from driving.

Police found the man around 3:30 Sunday afternoon and took him into custody without incident.

The man's mother has been released from the hospital.
