Multiple crashes temporarily shut down portion of northbound I-43 Wednesday morning

MILWAUKEE -- A portion of northbound I-43 was temporarily shut down Wednesday morning, February 10th due to multiple traffic accidents.

The accidents occurred between 112th Street and 124th Street.

According to the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office, there were three or four crashes involving six or seven vehicles -- including a jackknifed semi.

All lanes reopened around 9:45 a.m.

No additional details have been released -- including the cause of the traffic incidents or if any injuries were sustained.
