Mount Pleasant police investigate suspicious death

MOUNT PLEASANT (WITI) -- Mount Pleasant police are investigating the death of a 19-year-old man they say it suspicious.

Police were called to a home on N. Fancher Rd. just before 5 a.m. on Saturday, March 16th. The 19-year-old was reportedly not waking up.

The victim was transported by the South Shore Fire Department to the Wheaton Franciscan Emergency Room where he later was died.

The name of the deceased is not being released at this time.
