PORT WASHINGTON (WITI) -- More than 125 acres on Port Washington's lakefront could be developed into a vineyard, winery and subdivision.

The project would line the Lake Michigan bluff along Lake Shore Drive, south of Port Washington's downtown.

73 houses would be built in a line running north to south through the land.

A vineyard and winery is planned to the west.

The development gained an endorsement from Port Washington's Plan Commission and gets reviewed by the full Common Council on Tuesday, January 20th.
