Missing mentally disabled man Ruben Santos found dead

RACINE (WITI) -- A 57-year-old mentally disabled man from Racine who went missing on December 22nd has been found dead.

The family of Ruben Santos says the man was found just after 4:30 p.m. Friday, December 27th in a semi-wooded area in the 5100 block of 21st St.

Santos' daughter, Marta Santos, was with a group of people looking for the man when they discovered his body.

Santos' other daughter, Rosa Ramos says the family is looking into pursuing legal action against the assisted living facility Santos walked away from.

Racine Police are actively investigating Santos' death however they say there has been no indication of foul play.
