A 16-year-old Kewaskum girl, missing since November 8 was found safe Thursday in Clintonville, about two hours north of Kewaskum. Police say Eve Amadon contacted her stepfather Thursday afternoon, saying she wanted to come home. Eve's stepfather picked her up and took her to the Clintonville Police Department, where she is being interviewed by officers because she is underage.
Eve's mom said she went into Eve's room on Tuesday, November 8 to wake her up for school at Kewaskum High School, and she wasn't in her bed. Her mother says right away, she worried Eve had run away with a boyfriend she's been seeing for a few months, but is concerned none of her friends have heard from her.
"I want her to know I love her and it doesn't matter what she's done, she needs to come home. She has a brother and sister, and they adore her. We just need her here," Eve's mom, Nicole Ebert said.
Kewaskum police contacted Clintonville police after tracking a signal from Eve's cell phone from a tower in Clintonville.
