Miranda Lambert gets emotional while singing to fan with cancer

CORPUS CHRISTIE, Texas (WITI) -- Country music singer Miranda Lambert broke down while singing to a fan fighting cancer.

Lambert was performing her song "Over You" in Corpus Christie, Texas when she spotted a little girl in the audience wearing a face mask and pink cowboy hat.

In the video, Lambert can be seen reaching out to hold the little girl's hand.  Lambert then got very emotional and couldn't continue to sing.

7-year-old Brooke Hester is battling neuroblastoma.
