MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee's Slice of Ice is scheduled to open on Friday, November 29th. The rink will open at 11 a.m. -- and until 1 p.m. that day, there will be free skate rental and free Pepsi products for everyone coming to skate.
The outdoor ice rink can be found at Milwaukee County's Red Arrow Park at the corner of Water and State. It can comfortably accommodate 100 skaters at a time.
The 128-by-95 refrigerated oval is open through February (or March if the weather allows) – even in temperatures as high as 50 degrees! Throughout the skating season, ice skates may be rented for $7 per pair for ages 17 & under and $8 per pair for adults. Skaters with their own skates can skate for free.
