Milwaukee man charged in shooting death of Keenan Payne

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- 27-year-old Randell Thompson of Milwaukee is facing one count of first-degree reckless homicide and one count of possession of a firearm by a felon in connection with the shooting death of Keenan Payne.
Payne was shot and killed on August 25th in the area of N. 77th Street and W. Bender.
According to the criminal complaint, Payne was shot and killed during an altercation outside of a gas station in the area.
According to the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office, Payne died as a result of gunshot wounds to the arm and chest.
If convicted, Thompson could face up to $25,000 in fines and up to 70 years in prison.
