Mequon police find suspected car thief and car

MEQUON (WITI) -- Mequon police say they have found a suspected car thief and the car!

Officials say just before 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 25th, an employee's vehicle was stolen from the Sendik's store in Mequon. They say the suspect entered the employee area in the back of the store and removed the employee’s coat containing keys to the vehicle.  The suspect then located the vehicle in the lot and drove off northbound on Port Washington Rd.

Police have not said where they found the car at this time.
