Man stabbed in parking lot of Paradise Lanes in Racine

MOUNT PLEASANT --  Mount Pleasant police are investigating, after a 21-year-old Kenosha man was stabbed in the parking lot of the Paradise Lanes/Mixer's Nightclub.

Hundreds of people were packed into the Mixer's Nightclub Saturday night, but the manager says no one saw the stabbing in the parking lot.

Police say the man suffered a laceration to the upper left side of his torso, and stumbled into the bowling alley/nightclub and collapsed. The man was taken to Wheaton-Franciscan Hospital and then transferred to Froedtert Hospital.

The bowling alley says they have been told by a family member he is in stable condition, although he is being assisted to breathe.

Employees say an argument in the parking lot caught the attention of bouncers at Mixer's Nightclub earlier in the night.  The fight appeared over, and staff walked inside, before the victim stumbled inside.

Mixer's Nightclub's manager says they do not believe the person responsible for this stabbing ever made it inside the club. The manager says there were no fights inside the club Saturday night, and credits his staff for helping save the victim's life.

Police say this investigation is ongoing, and there is no suspect in custody at this time.
