Malls open early for shoppers on Black Friday morning

The malls welcomed shoppers EARLY Black Friday morning, with Southridge Mall opening at 3:00 a.m., and Brookfield Square Mall and Mayfair Mall opening at 5:00 a.m. FOX6's Laura Langemo was at Mayfair when the doors opened, and talked with shoppers all morning Friday. Chantelle, Cassie and Mallory headed down to Mayfair from Sheboygan Falls to hunt down some Christmas gifts, and also get some deals on some things for themselves.

The three girls said they started shopping around 11:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving night! They were having a sleepover, and said they just decided to get up and get going. They said they were shopping both for Christmas gifts for their families, and also some things for themselves. They had a long drive down to Milwaukee from Sheboygan Falls, after just two hours of sleep last night. When FOX6's Laura Langemo talked with them around 8:00 a.m. Friday, they said they had just fueled up on some Starbucks, and were feeling their second wind kick in!

The girls had their hands full of shopping bags, and said they got some sweaters, jeans, a blanket, some Badgers' gear, and socks. They did report that as expected, there were shirtless greeters at Abercrombie. "They were okay. The ones in New York are a lot better!" Chantelle said.

The girls said they had about an hours worth of shopping left at Mayfair on Friday, before heading back to Sheboygan Falls to hit up Menards and Fleet Farm. It was a busy day, filled with a lot of great deals!
