Love Door County? Luxury $17 million retreat on shores of Lake Michigan up for auction!



DOOR COUNTY -- Love Door County? A nearly 10,000 square foot, Frank Lloyd Wright-style home on the shores of Lake Michigan is up for auction!

According to Indianapolis-based "Key Auctioneers," the home, "La Maison des Deux Fleurs" (the home of two flowers) was originally priced at nearly $17 million. It was custom designed and custom built -- and will be up for auction beginning November 18th.

Key Auctioneers is conducting the online auction.

According to Key Auctioneers, the home was built in 2001 by architect Richard Bos as an homage to Frank Lloyd Wright’s prairie school of architecture and its principles of organic architecture.

The home is 8,735 square feet, and includes four bedrooms, four bathrooms, a library, two offices and a gourmet kitchen.

The home’s lot includes 21 wooded acres and 800 feet of Lake Michigan shoreline.

The auction will be online only, and bidding will take place on the Key Auctioneers website. It will run from November 18 – December 1.
