Latest: Elm Grove police release new photos in Sendik's attempted armed robbery

ELM GROVE -- Police in Elm Grove released new surveillance photos on Sunday, October 4th from an attempted armed robbery at the Sendik's Food Market on Watertown Plank Rd.

Investigators say on Monday, September 28th, two armed men wearing Halloween masks approached two product delivery workers at the Sendik's -- taking at least one at gunpoint through the rear entrance of the store.

Included in the photos released on Sunday -- photos (see below) of one of the suspect who wore the "Scream" mask -- and removed the mask once he was in the store.



The suspects are in this case are both described as males, black, about 5'5" to 5'10" tall. Each was wearing a Halloween-type mask and gloves.

Nobody was hurt -- and no money was taken in this crime. We're told there were just a few employees inside the store at the time, and no customers.

Additional details about the type of gun used in this case and the vehicle with stolen plates are not being released at this time.
