Jackson police investigation: Deceased male found in Jackson Park

JACKSON -- Jackson police report an officer found a deceased male, 35, in Jackson Park around 6:45 a.m. on Monday, July 16.

Officials said in a Facebook post that the death appears to be a suicide, pending an official finding by the medical examiner.

Jackson police were assisted by sheriff’s deputies and the State Patrol’s Technical Reconstruction Unit.
