Humane Society looking for home for bonded Dachshunds
RACINE (WITI) – The Wisconsin Humane Society (WHS) Racine Campus is asking for the public’s help in finding a great home for two very tightly bonded dogs. Molly and Ruby are adorable Dachshund buddies who were surrendered to the WHS Racine Campus because their family no longer had time for them.
Ruby, a five-year-old Dachshund, is a bit on the chubby side and needs to drop a few pounds. Hey, who doesn’t?
Molly, who is four years old, is an adorable Dachshund/Chihuahua mix who adores her BFF.
Molly is a bit shy with strangers, but when her sidekick Ruby is nearby, she’s much more confident and comfortable.
Both girls had their teeth cleaned and some teeth pulled while they have been in the care of the Wisconsin Humane Society. They are incredibly bonded, so the shelter staff is committed to finding a home for the pair.
Molly and Ruby are currently available at the WHS Racine Campus. Their adoption fee is $249.
Both dogs have been spayed, microchipped, and been given initial vaccinations.
They also go home with a certificate for a free veterinary exam and 30 days of pet health insurance.
