How about a brat? Free Usinger sausage for all (while supplies last)

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Monday, February 23rd is declared Fred Usinger Day -- and that means a FREE Usinger sausage for all while supplies last at the Old German Beer Hall in downtown Milwaukee.

This year is the 8th annual celebration of Fred Usinger Day at the Old German Beer Hall. The tradition began in 2008 after beer hall founder Hans Weissgerber III noticed proclamations from the Mayor and County Executive on the wall in the Usinger's lobby. Weissgerber thought it would be fitting to mark the occasion by giving away a free Usinger sausage to all who enter the Old German Beer Hall, every year on Fred Usinger Day. One free Usinger Sausage per person will be given out at the Old German Beer Hall from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., while supplies last.

The Old German Beer Hall, located at 1009 N. Old World Third Street (across from Usinger's) was founded in 2005 as Munich style beer hall serving the beers of the Royal Hofbräu Munich Brewery.
