Harmony Foods damaged by fire, displacing eight people

MILWAUKEE -- A grocery store is damaged and more than half a dozen people are without a home after an early morning fire on Milwaukee's southwest side at 25th and Becher.

Battalion Chief Richard Kaiser calls the fire suspicious in nature. "One of the occupants indicated that there was a fire set outside the structure and the fire rapidly moved to the first and second floor."

Fire and police crews are investigating the exact cause of this fire, and are questioning witnesses to see what or who may be responsible for leaving eight people without a home.

The American Red Cross is assisting those displaced by this fire.
