Habitat for Humanity hosting ReStore Recycling Drive April 13

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Habitat for Humanity and Mayfair are partnering to try and fill more than six semi-trailers with unwanted electronics, computers, TVs, and gently used clothing and household items at the ReStore Recycling Drive Saturday, April 13th.

The ReStore resells donated furniture, appliances, cabinetry, and building supplies to the public with proceeds benefiting Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity. ReStore’s flagship location is at 3015 N. 114th in Wauwatosa.

Shoppers are encouraged to donate acceptable items at Mayfair’s Northeast parking lot until 4:00 p.m., with proceeds benefiting the Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity’s mission of providing simple, decent and affordable housing to families in need.

Volunteers will be on hand to process the drive-thru donations during the event. In addition to a tax-deductible receipt for their donations, those who donate will also receive special savings and incentives from Mayfair retailers supporting the event.
