Ground broken for new Sendik's Food Market in West Milwaukee

WEST MILWAUKEE -- Sendik's Food Market will open a grocery store in West Milwaukee in fall 2016.

Groundbreaking for the new store took place Monday, April 11th.

The store will be located on the east side of Miller Park Way in West Milwaukee, between Mitchell and Burnham Streets.

The store will anchor an undeveloped site that will also be home to a Goodwill Industries location and a yet-to-be-named sit-down restaurant.

140 full-time and part-time employees will be hired for the Sendik's store.
