GREENDALE -- The Greendale High School marching band won its eighth consecutive state title on Saturday, October 13th at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. The band finished first with a score of 87.40 at WSMA State Marching Competition.
The team also won Best Musical Presentation, Best Visual Presentation, and Best Colorguard.
Our news partners at Greendale Patch talked with Tom Reifenberg, Director of the Greendale Marching Band. He says he owes much of the band’s success to the immense community support.
“Thank you to the parents, community, and the school district for supporting arts,” Reifenberg said. “It’s a big team effort of the community.”
