Gov. Walker closes state government offices for Thurs.

MADISON -- Gov. Scott Walker closed on Wednesday night, December 19th state government offices to the public due to extreme winter weather conditions predicted for Wisconsin. 

Select state office buildings will be closed to the public on Thursday, December 20th, but will remain open to employees.

State office buildings will be closed to the public in the following counties: 

Please note that the Capitol in Madison is still open for business.

Earlier Wednesday, Gov. Walker declared a State of Emergency to ready Wisconsin Emergency Management, the Wisconsin National Guard, the State Patrol, and other Wisconsin state agencies to respond to the winter storm.
