"Goodbye Mama": Boy sends final text, aware tornado ready to hit



VILONIA, Ar. -- An Arkansas woman is treasuring the final text messages sent by her son, one of the many victims of an EF-4 tornado that hit Vilonia, Arkansas on April 27.

KNWA reports that Jeffrey Hunter sent his mom, Regina Wood, several text messages while he took shelter in a bathroom. 

Regina was 20 miles away when she received the heartbreaking texts that included, "Goodbye mama," and "It's heading right for me."

Jeffrey was found unconscious on the ground, and died from his injuries.
