Given a warning: Common Council decides NOT to suspend Victors' liquor license

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- A popular Milwaukee nightclub under fire for serving underage patrons will not have its liquor license suspended.

On Tuesday, June 24th, the Milwaukee Common Council voted not to punish Victors by deciding against a 10-day suspension.

The suggested punishment came after more than 100 underage students were found inside the nightclub in April of 2013.

The club's lawyer says it has taken measures to stop underage people from getting in.

Instead of a suspension, Milwaukee Common Council members decided to give Victors a warning.
