Gerber recalling Good Start Gentle Powdered Infant Formula

NEW JERSEY -- Gerber is recalling some powdered baby formula.

The recall is related to Gerber Good Start Gentle Powdered Infant Formula in 23.2 ounce plastic packaging.

The product number is GXP 1684 with an expiration date of March 5th, 2013.

Gerber says the formula does not pose a health risk, but may have a foul odor. In some cases spit-up and other gastrointestinal complaints have been reported.

People with the product should contact the Gerber Parents Resource Center at 1-800-487-7763 for replacement.
