Free chili & beer at Cafe Hollander for everyone who donated a winter coat: "We want to warm you up"
MILWAUKEE -- The Lowlands Group on Sunday, November 20th hosted a "Chili Weather Coat Drive" at the Cafe Hollander on Milwaukee's east side.
Everyone who donated a coat or any other type of cold-weather gear was treated to a free bowl of chili, along with a specially-brewed Lowlands beer.

The goal was to warm everyone up.
"There's a lot of people that can't afford a good coat and it gets really cold in Wisconsin and we want to make sure we keep as many people warm as possible. Times can be tough and we want to warm you up," Kevin Coulter, Cafe Hollander executive chef said.

All of the donations will be handed over to the Silver Spring Community Center.
Sunday's coat drive was a kickoff for Cafe Hollander's reopening.
There were renovations at the restaurant to celebrate 10 years of business.
