Franksville restaurant burglarized, liquor and TV stolen

FRANKSVILLE (WITI) -- A Franksville restaurant and bar was burglarized early on Wednesday, January 8th -- and the thieves got away with cases of liquor, a big screen TV, a security system and cash.

Officers were called to the market just after 8 a.m. to investigate the burglary. The owners of Don's Meat Market indicated their business was burglarized.

Officers found the suspects damaged all the gambling machines in the bar and had taken money out of the machines. The suspects also stole cases of liquor (108 bottles in all), drink chips, a 50-inch flat screen TV and a security system that was still sealed in the box. A safe in the business was also pried open -- and cash removed.

The estimated value of the liquor is approximately $1,900. The total loss from the theft and damage to the business is estimated to be $7,800.
