Franklin woman accused of having sex with teenager

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- 27-year-old Colleen Lewandowski of Franklin faces three misdemeanor counts of sex with a child age 16 or older.

The criminal complaint against Lewandowski indicates she is the wife of the alleged victim's former assistant wrestling coach. Lewandowski "would come along to watch the practices and attend the wrestling meets." The alleged victim was not on the wrestling team this school year, but he attended a junior varsity conference match in February.

The complaint indicates Lewandowski "spoke to him at this match and told him that she and her husband were having marital problems." The two then apparently began messaging each other on Facebook and discussing their lives. The complaint says "the defendant became interested" in (the teen) sexually."

The complaint says in March, the alleged victim began going over to Lewandowski's house in Franklin. They "began kissing and touching each other and then went to the bedroom where they engaged in sexual intercourse." This allegedly happened multiple times in the month.

When interviewed by detectives, the complaint indicates Lewandowski "admitted that she would pick up (the teen) from school" and "he would stay the night at her apartment. During this time, her husband was away in Florida or staying with a friend."

If convicted, Lewandowski faces up to nine months in prison and $10,000 in fines. Lewandowski is expected back in court on Thursday, August 1st.
