Frank Hvizdak sentenced to 25 years in prison

SHEBOYGAN -- A Sheboygan County judge sentenced 65-year-old Frank Hvizdak to 25 years in prison with an additional ten years of extended supervision on Wednesday.

Hvizdak was convicted of shooting 31-year-old Jason TenPas on the deck of Racers Hall bar in Plymouth late in the evening back on August 31, 2010.

Relatives of the victim say the two were arguing over politics at the time of the shooting.

TenPas' parents were greatly disappointed in the judge's sentence, and felt it wasn't enough. "He is a sick, evil monster with a twisted mind, with no regrets or remorse for killing Jason," Donna TenPas said. I will never understand the judge's decision on 25 years," Gary TenPas said.

The district attorney had asked for 35 years in prison in this case.
