FOX6 Web Fix: Ducks cause rush hour backup

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- It wasn't an accident, or even construction, that tied up traffic during rush hour on Thursday, May 16th. It was a mother duck and her ducklings!

The flock wandered onto I-94 near Brookfield Rd. around 5 p.m.

A police squad attempted to block traffic, which was backed up for miles, as the ducks waddled back and forth across two lanes.

The ducks eventually, and safely, made it to a fenced in grassy area where they were rescued.
