FOX6 Season of Giving blood drive Thursday and Friday at Zoo

GREENDALE -- Some headed to the mall on the day after Christmas not just for the bargains or to exchange Christmas gifts -- but to make a donation.

The Milwaukee Radio Alliance partnered with the American Red Cross at Southridge Mall for a "Day of Donations."

Everyone who donated blood got four Milwaukee Wave ticket vouchers, a movie theater pass and a $20 gift certificate to Fast Track Oil Change.

Donors also had a chance to win good seats to the Wrestlemania event at the BMO Harris Bradley Center in March.

FOX6 News and the BloodCenter of Wisconsin are hosting a blood drive at the Milwaukee County Zoo on Thursday, December 27th from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 28th.

The BloodCenter has a goal of 700 donors during the two-day event.
