"It's like a dream come true to be able to provide this option of free lodging, free accommodation which takes away so much of the stress or worry when you already have that on your mind when your family member is in the hospital," Jennifer Kiefer said.

The ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for April 23rd.

Fisher House officials are expecting a crowd of nearly 1,000 for that ceremony.

The Fisher House Foundation builds homes across the country. Milwaukee's is the 65th Fisher House.
