Four-week old kitten tossed from moving car, now needs a foster family

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- The Wisconsin Humane Society (WHS) is now in the care of a four-week old kitten that's in need of a foster family.

Officials with the WHS say the kitten, named Buffy, was thrown from a moving car -- and scooped up by a Good Samaritan. Buffy now needs a foster home where she can grow up big and strong.

Meanwhile, April is a critical foster recruitment month for the Wisconsin Humane Society, in preparation for kitten season – not to mention the dogs and puppies who will need foster care this spring.
