Flight for Life lands near scene of industrial accident at "Cream City Wrecking" in Menomonee Falls



MENOMONEE FALLS -- Menomonee Falls police on Wednesday afternoon, June 22nd were called out to the scene of an industrial accident at "Cream City Wrecking" on Warren Street. It happened around 1:17 p.m.

The investigation revealed that Hanke Trucking of Slinger was operating at that location and one of their employees, a 27-year-old man from Mayville, WI, got his arm stuck in an impact material crusher.

With the assistance from the Milwaukee Fire Department’s H.U.R.T (Heavy Urban Rescue Team), the man was eventually freed from the machine and transported to a local hospital via Flight for Life with non-life threatening injuries.

This incident remains under investigation by both the Menomonee Falls Police Department and the United States Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

No further details have yet been released.
