Flight for Life called to Lake Drive on Sunday afternoon

WHITEFISH BAY (WITI) -- FOX6 News has learned a bicyclist was taken to the hospital following an incident on Lake Drive on Sunday, October 6th.

It happened around 1:30 Sunday afternoon.

Officials say a 58-year-old woman was riding her bicycle when she struck something in the roadway.

The woman suffered a serious head injury and was taken to the hospital via Flight for Life.

The woman's condition is unknown.
