Five taken to hospital after peroxide spill at Bradley Corp.

MENOMONEE FALLS -- Menomonee Falls Fire officials were called to "Bradley Corporation" -- a manufacturer of non-residential plumbing fixtures and washroom accessories, just before 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 26th for the report of a possible hazardous materials spill.

Fire officials told FOX6 News a 10-gallon peroxide spill occurred in an enclosed area of the warehouse facility, located on Commerce and Fountain.

Officials say the spill was contained.

Five employees were exposed to the peroxide material, and were taken to the hospital as a precaution. Those workers are expected to be okay.

There is no word at this time as to what caused the spill.

The building was evacuated and employees were sent home early, though it is expected that business will be back to normal Wednesday, June 27th.

The Waukesha County Hazmat Team is expected to sweep the building to ensure it's safe to reopen.

FOX6 News is told approximately 385 people work at the facility.
