Firefighters battle three-alarm fire at lawnmower shop in Delavan
DELAVAN (WITI) -- Multiple fire departments battled a three-alarm fire at a lawnmower shop in the city of Delavan.
The fire broke out shortly before 2 p.m. on Monday, March 25th at a home near 8th and Wisconsin in Delavan.
Officials say workers initially attempted to put out the fire themselves, but when they couldn't, they called 911.
Due to additional roofs that were on the shop for rain runoff, crews upgraded the fire to three alarms, which brought a total of 15 fire departments to the scene.
Officials say no one was injured in the fire.
Firefighters from the following departments are taking part in the firefight: Delavan, Elkhorn, Lake Geneva, Walworth, Sharon, Whitewater, Bloomfield, Genoa City, Hebron, La Grange and East Troy.
Damage estimates are not yet available.
